BBQ Pulled Pieces

  • 50g Medium Hydrate Pea Protein Chunk
  • TO MAKE THE BBQ SAUCE -
  • 135g tomato sauce
  • 30g soft brown sugar
  • 20ml apple cider vinegar
  • 10ml gluten free soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp water
Method

1. Add the BBQ sauce ingredients into a medium bowl and combine.

2. Add the Medium Hydrate Pea Protein Chunk to the BBQ sauce.

3. Mix to combine.

4. Tip into a pan and bring to the boil.

5. Gently simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce is absorbed.

6. Load up the buns with the sticky BBQ pieces.

7. Top with vegan slaw and a small handful of microgreens.

8. Serve immediately.

Serving Suggestion

Brioche buns, vegan slaw and large handfuls of microgreens.
