Sticky Teriyaki Bites

Ingredients
- 40g Pea Protein Chunks
- 55ml teriyaki sauce
- 15ml soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp Chinese Five Spice
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp chilli flakes
- 4 Bao buns
To garnish:
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 red chilli, deseeded and thinly sliced
- Handful fresh coriander
Method
Immerse the Pea Protein Chunks in hot water then immediately drain, dab with kitchen roll to dry and place to one side.
In a medium bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, soya sauce, sesame oil, Chinese five spice, ground coriander and chilli flakes together.
Add in the Pea Protein Chunks and coat well.
Marinate at room temperature for one hour (or overnight in the fridge)
Place in a medium pan, over a medium heat.
Heat through, the sauce should be thick and sticky.
Heat the 4 Bao buns via the instructions on the packet and fill the sticky chunks mixture.
Garnish with fresh chilli, sesame seeds and fresh coriander.
Serve immediately.
